Surah Al Anam is the sixth chapter of the Holy Quran and it consists of one hundred and sixty five verses. It is a Makki surah that focuses on the belief in the Oneness of Allah, His power, and the guidance He provides for humanity. Throughout this surah, Allah reminds people of His mercy, His authority over all creation, and the importance of turning to Him in every matter of life.
Marriage is an important part of life in Islam, and sometimes people experience delays, difficulties in finding a suitable proposal, or uncertainty about choosing the right partner. During such situations, believers often turn toward supplication, remembrance of Allah, and the recitation of the Quran to seek spiritual comfort and guidance. The Surah Al Anam wazifa is practiced by some believers as a way of making sincere dua to Allah for marriage ease and for finding a righteous spouse.
Many individuals also read other Quranic supplications along with this practice. For example, some believers continue their spiritual routine with the
Surah Al Maidah wazifa for marriage ease while seeking Allah’s guidance and blessings for their future marriage.
Hadith Related to Surah Al Anam
Some narrations mention the importance and greatness of Surah Al Anam. It is reported from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Surah Al Anam was revealed, a large number of angels descended with it while glorifying Allah. Scholars explain that this narration highlights the significance and spiritual weight of this surah.
Although there is no specific hadith that directly prescribes a wazifa from this surah for marriage, the recitation of the Quran itself is an act of worship and a source of spiritual blessings. The Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم ) encouraged believers to recite the Quran regularly and ask Allah for help through sincere supplication. Therefore, reciting verses of Surah Al Anam while asking Allah for marriage ease can be understood as a personal act of dua and remembrance rather than a guaranteed solution.
Surah Al Anam Wazifa for Marriage
The Surah Al Anam wazifa for marriage can be performed in a simple and respectful manner. A person should begin by performing ablution and offering two units of voluntary prayer with the intention of seeking Allah’s help. After completing the prayer, recite Durood Sharif eleven times. Then recite verse seventeen of Surah Al Anam forty one times with focus and sincerity. While performing this wazifa, certain conditions should be observed. The intention should remain sincere and focused on seeking a lawful and blessed marriage. Regular prayers should be maintained because salah strengthens the spiritual relationship with Allah. Good character, respect for parents, and seeking their prayers are also important because their blessings often bring goodness in major life matters.
After completing the wazifa period, it is beneficial to continue reciting Durood Sharif and the mentioned verse occasionally so that remembrance of Allah remains part of daily life.
