In this post, a wazifa based on Surah Ikhlas is described through which a person may pray to Allah for ease and guidance regarding marriage. Surah Ikhlas is one of the shortest yet most profound chapters of the Holy Qur’an. It is the 112th chapter of the Qur’an, located in Para 30, and consists of four verses. In this Surah, the oneness, uniqueness, and self-sufficiency of Allah Almighty are expressed in a very concise and powerful manner.
In Islam, marriage is considered an important act of worship and a fundamental pillar of the social system. Sometimes people face different difficulties regarding marriage, such as not finding a suitable proposal, repeated breakups of engagements, or other obstacles. In such situations, Muslims turn to Allah through prayer and remembrance.
The wazifa of Surah Ikhlas is essentially a remembrance of the oneness of Allah. When a person sincerely remembers Allah’s unity, it may bring peace to the heart and encourage the person to make supplication for their needs. By reciting Surah Ikhlas with this intention, a person may pray to Allah for ease in their marriage matters. However, it should always be remembered that outcomes depend on the will of Allah, the sincerity of the person, and the acceptance of the supplication.

Hadiths About Surah Ikhlas

There are several authentic hadiths that highlight the virtue and importance of Surah Ikhlas.
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) reported that a man heard another person reciting “Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad” repeatedly throughout the night. In the morning, he mentioned this to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. The Prophet said:
“By the One in Whose hand is my soul, this Surah is equal to one third of the Qur’an.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 5013)
In another narration, Hazrat Aisha (RA) reported that whenever the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم visited a sick person, he would recite Surah Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas and blow over them.
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 5748)
These hadiths indicate the great virtue of Surah Ikhlas. Its recitation strengthens a person’s remembrance of Allah and increases spiritual awareness. For this reason, many scholars encourage the recitation of this Surah as part of daily supplications and remembrance.
