In this post, we explain a Quranic wazifa related to Surah Al-Baqarah that many Muslims recite while praying to Allah for ease in marriage matters, especially when parents are concerned about delays in their daughter’s marriage. The purpose of this article is to share a simple spiritual practice based on Quranic recitation and supplication.
Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Holy Quran and contains 286 verses. It was revealed in Madinah and is the longest Surah in the Quran (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:1-286). Because of its great virtues, many believers regularly recite this Surah while seeking blessings and help from Allah in different matters of life.

Hadith About the Virtue of Surah Baqarah

The virtues of Surah Al-Baqarah are mentioned in authentic hadith. Abu Umamah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah said:
“Recite Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing and leaving it is a cause of regret, and the magicians cannot confront it.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 804)
In another narration the Prophet said:
“Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan does not enter a house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.”
(Sahih Muslim)
These hadith show that the recitation of Surah Baqarah brings blessings and protection to the home, and many believers recite it while seeking Allah’s help during difficult situations in life.

Surah Al-Baqarah Wazifa for Daughter’s Marriage

Surah Baqarah Last 2 Verses in Arabic

If parents are worried about delays in their daughter’s marriage, they may perform this Quran-based wazifa while sincerely praying to Allah for guidance and ease.
To perform this wazifa, a person should first make sure they are in a state of wudu (ablution). It is recommended to perform this spiritual practice after the Isha prayer, when a person can focus on supplication with sincerity and calmness.
Begin by reciting Durood Ibrahim (sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) three times. After this, recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah (verses 285-286) eleven times with attention and understanding. These verses are widely known for their spiritual significance and are often recited by Muslims for protection and blessings.
After completing the recitation, sincerely make dua to Allah and ask Him to bless your daughter with a righteous and suitable marriage proposal. Ask Allah to remove any difficulties and guide the family toward what is best. After making dua, recite Durood Sharif three times again.
This spiritual practice may be continued for seven consecutive days while maintaining regular prayers, sincerity in supplication, and complete trust in Allah’s wisdom and timing. Giving charity and increasing remembrance of Allah during this period may also be beneficial.
